Almacén
by Jenna Romano | 23.08.16A new creative space is in town! A self-proclaimed “place to dream”, Almacén is a cool new spot for Tel Avivians that will connect the community through the arts and culture.
The name Almacén, which comes from the Arabic word al-makzhan and Hebrew’s machsan, refers to a multi-functional storage space–this has a lot to do with the venues own dreams to produce a wide range of exhibitions, music shows, workshops, lectures and other encounters within the artistic community.
Almacén is kicking off their establishment with some great events and a group exhibition, (God Speed) to the Ships which will show until September 18th, 2016 – Participating artists: Benjamin Mecz, Naama Bar-Or, Ira Shalit, Maya Elran and Ori Carmely.
