Brown Hotel’s Lifeguard Tower Pop-Upby Telavivian | 03.04.17

In an exciting collaboration with the Israel Ministry of Tourism, Brown Hotel turned an ordinary lifeguard tower into the world’s first hotel of its kind. The result was a lavish yet homey suite, with a front view of the Mediterranean Sea. The pop-up hotel included a gorgeous bathtub, room service, a personal butler, a lounge area on the second floor, and delicious Israeli breakfast for its guests.
The unique mini-hotel was used for the #TakeMe2TelAviv campaign sponsored by Hotels.com, during which people from all over the world sent in Instagram submissions for a chance to win a one-night stay in this beachside paradise. Ten winners were selected and stayed in the lifeguard hotel for one night each, and afterwards the tower was returned to its original function.
