Buttering Trio
by Elinor Lazar | 23.03.16Something big is on the Tel Avivian horizon, taking the form of a Buttering Trio. In the past five years this Tel Aviv and Berlin based band, consisting of bassist Beno Hendler (Balkan Beat Box), lead singer Keren Dunietz and Rejoicer (producer of Bajka), has been turning the world upside down with their outer space vibes.
The trio describes their music as an atmosphere. Everything that they love inspires them and you can feel this while listening to the warm, funky sounds that the band creates. You hear Tel Aviv, which they consider as “a never ending playground” and “closest to a home”.
With fun and relaxing songs like “Little Goat” (they refer to this as a “Zen Poem”), and songs with strong messages like “Falafel” (which urges human beings to see the similarities instead of differences in each other), Buttering Trio takes us with them on a musical journey that is only getting started.
Listen to the first single of their upcoming album and do not miss them perform live at the Pasáž this Saturday, March 26.
