Museums of Bat Yam (MoBY)

Just off the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, MoBY-Museum of Bat Yam is a museum complex in the city of Bat Yam, part of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa metro area. MoBY’s location in the heart of a residential neighborhood informs the museum’s commitment to community programs, aiming to engage the general public with contemporary art. As the role of contemporary art institutions in the twenty-first century continues to evolve, MoBY’s activities address questions regarding the role of the museum as one of the main institutions of the modern-democratic era.

It’s dynamic curatorial approach, which involves an open exchange between artists, writers, critics, and scholars, has made MoBY a platform for producing and exhibiting emerging cultural dialogues.

Opening Hours: Tues,Thurs 4–8 p.m., Fri,Sat 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
