CoffeeBar: Good Things Never Changeby Telavivian | 13.09.17
Over the past few years, Tel Aviv has become a culinary hotspot driven by local chefs’ prowess towards innovative cuisine, attracting new flocks of travelers to “taste what’s good” in our beloved metropolis on the Mediterranean. Since first opening its doors in 1998 up until today, CoffeeBar has served as a culinary institution in micro-Metropolis on the Mediterranean that has stood the test of time and sparked the crazed wave of restaurants in the city.
Helmed by the young and strapping Chef Ohad Soloman, diners at CoffeeBar are treated to innovative dishes and bottle after bottle of crisp Flam wines, French, Italian and Israeli wine labels, poured with abandon. Observing the vibe around the restaurant’s street-side patio, one can’t help but notice that that on even on a Monday night, CoffeeBar is packed with patrons to the brim—whether it’s ladies night, date night, or a simple group get-together, CoffeeBar is as consistent and quality-focused as it was when Ruti and Mati Broudo (R2M) opened the doors nearly twenty years ago.
