New Co-working Space In Town!by Daniela Engelberg | 29.03.17
Two very talented childhood friends, Adi Mor and Dana Arnon, came together to open an intimate shared workspace for all of those who consider themselves to be curious, ambitious and innovative. They both developed their professional career in the fields of design—architecture and graphic design—where they experienced what it’s like to work independently.
“We’ve been working from home for the past few years and as much as we enjoyed all the perks and comforts, we both felt like it was time to lose the pajamas and step up our game. We checked out many co-working possibilities, but we weren’t able to find something that truly matched what we were looking for—so we decided to do our own thing”, says the pair.
Dana and Adi persisted in finding a place where everything would be close by, and customers could easily come into the office. They had a vision of “being able to work both together and independently, as locals—living in the center of the city.”
Well, surprise, surprise! Damndesign is here, located in the heart of Tel Aviv behind a hidden courtyard of a renewed Bauhaus building. It’s on the quiet Strauss Street, walking distance from Rothschild. The ambiance combines simplicity, cleanliness and it is surrounded by serene sunshine that comes through the windows.
The space allows you to work, gaze for fresh ideas and get genuine support from the people sitting next to you. Everyone inside is independent, so rather than conventional networking, they have created a true sense of community.
The studio has 100 square meters, 16 individual desks, a storage space, a conference room, strong wireless network, printers and a fully equipped communal kitchen where everyone can mingle and share how they will change the world over a delicious, healthy lunch.
“We want to be surrounded by great people. Damndesign empowers individuals and provides the courage to do things differently. We love what we do and we’re looking for people who feel the same way.”
If you want to get a taste, join the Spring Party they will be hosting on this coming Friday, March 31st starting at 11:30 am!
