The Photohouse
The PhotoHouse, is a legendary Tel Aviv institution and home to one of Israel’s largest and most prestigious private archives of historical photography, with nearly a million negatives. Founded in 1936 by photographer Rudy Weissenstein and fellow photographers, the gallery was later co-managed by Rudy’s wife, Miriam. Still family-owned, it is now run by their grandson, Ben-Peter Dagan.
